There is no word spoken in vain. Words are not ordinary; they are thought conveyors. They bring to physical manifestations things in the unseen realm of man. Contrary to popular belief, words doesn't just disappear into thin air when spoken, but rather go ahead looking for the accomplishment of those reasons for which they are spoken.
Even as God has placed such a great potential to destroy giants inside David, no one can see it on the outside (1 Sam 17). His brothers were the first to attack his potentials as they said to him; “What are you doing around here, anyway…, what about the sheep you're supposed to be taking care of? You this nosey and arrogant brat, you just want to see what’s going on here!” Imagine such demoralising words! And as if that was not enough, on meeting Saul, he was also looked upon with disdain; “Small boy, we are not joking here; this man is of greater experience”. And to cap it up, the moment Goliath sighted David, the first attack he gave was not physical; it was recorded that he cursed David in the name of the god of Philistine.
You need not to be surprised when people try to talk you out of those abilities yearning for manifestation from the inside. When a woman is in labour, only her understands how she feels. When she voice out her feeling, you can’t shut her down because only her understood how close the coming of the baby is. Many has allowed men to shut down their labour at their right timing, and later on bring forth stillbirth. They never know that great people are product of time and chances (Eccl. 9:11). For this reason David refuse to give up. He never allowed what he is seeing physical and hearing outside to a stop his move towards destiny. He can see a greater vision together with a voice right on his inside yearning for manifestation. Their status not withstanding, he never allowed his brothers or King Saul to talk him out. He looked directly at Goliath and spoke to him; “I have come in the name of the Lord and today I will feed the birds of the air with your body”. He released those words according to the vision on his inside without looking at the massive structure standing before him called Goliath. What a daring boldness! I believe we all need such an audacity.
God’s words works without bounds. When they come right from the heart that believes its accomplishment, they produce life. Those weapons that men use to destroy destinies are often weapons of spoken word; hence you need a greater word to recreate your life. You can only fight spiritual battles with spiritual weapon. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. (Isa 54:17NKJV). It is high time you begin to condemn every contrary tongues speaking against your rising. Whatsoever you cannot confront, you cannot conquer. Never allow men to talk you out of your destiny.
